Sid Shroyer: South Bend, Indiana, United States; The purpose of this blog is to record and share my three week trip with the Holocaust and Jewish Resistance Teachers' Program to Israel, Germany, and Poland. I teach an elective semester class on Holocaust literature at New Prairie High School, New Carlisle, Indiana. I am a member of Temple Beth El, South Bend, Indiana and past president of the Kurt and Tessye Simon Fund for Holocaust Remembrance. The Simon Fund and the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley, South Bend, provided funding for my participation in this trip.
